Park in Uffizi Gallery

This palace, commissioned by the Medici family, besides being one of the most beautiful works made by Vasari, contains one of the oldest and most famous art collections in the world. Initially it was Francesco de' Medici who transformed the top floor of his palace into a personal art gallery. Over the years, the collection grew more and more, so that in 1769 the palace opened to the public and became one of the first modern museums.
