The Parking Michelangelo, located on Via Ricasoli, one of the main arteries of Florence's historic center, linking Piazza del Duomo to Piazza San Marco, is 70 meters from the Galleria dell'Accademia, which houses Michelangelo's David, and near the San Lorenzo Basilica and the Medici chapels.
In addition, it is an excellent parking lot to enjoy the theatrical performances of the rich Florentine poster thanks to its proximity to the Niccolini Theatre and the Teatro della Pergola.
The car park, monitored 24 hours a day by closed-circuit cameras, ensures that access to the ZTL is provided, including the registration number of vehicles with reservations in the municipal white list.
To allow access to the ZTL, the Florence City Council receives €1.00 (amount to be paid directly to the car park).
The city of Florence has environmental restrictions on vehicle traffic via Low Emission Zones (ZTL, in Italian). We advise you to check the sticker on your vehicle and make sure you are allowed to drive in these zones. Please note that a reservation is not an authorization.
In Florence, the car parks are authorized to manage the ZTL access permit. When you arrive at the car park, you will have to pay a fee that allows the car park staff to register your vehicle's number plate on the list of those authorized to enter the ZTL.
Please note that this registration allows only one entry/exit. Therefore, each time you wish to enter or leave the car park during the hours when the ZTL is active, you will have to pay an additional fee.

The ZTL access permit does not allow access to the entrances reserved for public transport or emergency vehicles (reserved lanes) or to the pedestrian zones.
Keep the parking ticket for at least 24 months, as it is the only valid document for contesting a possible ZTL sanction.

The Michelangelo car park is 7 km from the AI FI-SUD motorway exit (direction Rome and Bologna) and 8 km from Florence International Airport, Amerigo Vespucci.
