Seville Parkings in Estadio Olímpico de la Cartuja

Park in Estadio Olímpico de la Cartuja

The stadium is located in Seville, a city in the south of Spain, in the northwest of the city, in the district of La Cartuja, which gives it its name. It is not the official stadium of any sports team and therefore hosts various sporting events as an impartial stadium.

Where to park in the Estadio de la Cartuja

Estadio Olímpico de la Cartuja car park

The Estadio de la Cartuja has several areas where you can leave your car if you are attending a football match or concert. The club's own parking lot is normally reserved for club members, but it is best to inquire in advance if it can be used for some events.

Parking on the street

If you can't park in the stadium itself, you have to take into account the location of the Estadio de la Cartuja, as it is in the outskirts of Seville, and even part of its grounds are already in the municipality of Santiponce. It is very difficult to find parking in this area, which is why we recommend that you do a prior search of car parks near the area to assess which is the best option for parking near the stadium. You can use the website http://parkimeter.com or the app to compare different options. For example, if you want to go to Estadio de la Cartuja, here you can see the closest car parks to the stadium.

Estadio de la Cartuja

The Estadio de la Cartuja was built in 1999 to host the World Athletics Championships and as part of Spain's bid for the 2004 Olympic Games, which were eventually awarded to Greece. The stadium was therefore designed according to the criteria of the Olympic Committee, which gave it the name Olympic Stadium.

The Cartuja stadium hosts the final phase of the King's Cup from 2020 to 2024 or, for example, matches during the European Football Championship in 2020.

However, it has been conceived as a multi-sports stadium and therefore not only hosts football events, but also other sports. For example, it hosted the Davis Cup tennis finals in 2004 and 2011 and the World Athletics Championships in 1999.
